Good Days Start With Gratitude

Interestingly, I couldn’t find many reviews of this book, although it is one that I’m definitely interested in. Perhaps I can’t find the reviews because this is a journal, and journals don’t attract a lot of attention.

So, let’s take a look at the benefits of gratitude for a minute. (Personally, I think gratitude is a divine attribute that brings us closer to God.)

An article in Forbes lists seven benefits:

  1. Gratitude opens the door to more relationships.
  2. Gratitude improves physical health.
  3. Gratitude improves psychological health.
  4. Gratitude enhances empathy and reduces aggression.
  5. Grateful people sleep better.
  6. Gratitude improves self-esteem.
  7. Gratitude increases mental strength.

Happier human has scoured scientific studies and has compiled a list of 31 benefits. Positive Psychology not only lists 28 benefits (most of which have been covered in the previous articles) and links to siginificant research articles.

The Berkeley based Greater Good Magzine has even written an article to get the most out of gratitude journalling.

The Review Index

The Review Index seems to aggregate customer reviews from Amazon. Good Days Start With Gratitude A 52 Week Guide To Cultivate An Attitude Of Gratitude Gratitude Journal receives a score of 8.5/10.
